 The Complete Cricketer Academy

Dear Visitor

Now that the winter timetables are pretty much completed, we are entering a very important phase in the coaching and development cycle. Winter is where we can re-enforce the basics and technical skills away from the match situation. We will also be working on general fitness and core strength but, particularly the older players, should be working on their own routines.

Please remember that we do work on Public Holidays. It is the perfect chance for parents that do not always get to see their young cricketers to come through and view their development.

Also, please be reminded that sport/cricket appropriate clothing should be worn for practice at both the academy and particularly the HPC centre. Younger players are required to wear takkies at all times.

If you would like to purchase an academy training shirt, please mail Laurie with sizes and the name you wish to have on the back. These are non-compulsory so please do not feel obliged. We need a minimum of ten before we can put an order in.

We have been approached by two groups regarding donations of cricket kit and clothing. If you have any unwanted cricket equipment, shoes or clothing, please bring it in to us and we can allocate it accordingly. All donations will be gratefully received and it remains part of our ongoing commitment to helping less fortunate young cricketers in WP.

We look forward to a great off-season packed with hard work, enjoyment and development of all our players' games.

Yours in cricket.
