Looking forward to 2012
We trust that you have all had a fantastic festive season so far and are taking the opportunity to spend some restful and enjoyable family time together.
With 2012 now upon us we are turning our attentions strongly to the new season at the academy and hpc. It is a time of change for everyone as all the players move up an age group and grade at school. The new timetable has been posted on the site under the members' section and also e-mailed to current players. This is the first draft and as usual, there will be changes as you get your new school timetables. This schedule has been worked on information rceived from the schools but these inevitably change!
Please note that VACANT slots are not necessarily available and are for options for changes to be made.
With the development of the hpc there will be opportunities for new players to join the academy or hpc and players currently on the waiting list are welcome to contact Laurie to arrange a suitable timeslot.
NEW PRICING STRUCTURES FOR 2012
Having had no price increase over the past two years at the academy, our 2012 rates will be increased to reflect our higher costs. The fees will remain on a monthly basis, in advance, and will be for 4 or 5 hourly sessions in the calendar month. Credits will only be given if we are unable to offer a session or should a player have a long-term injury or illness.
In 2012 we will be offering similar structures for the hpc where monthly bookings will receive a discounted price for either one-on-one, 2-on 1 or 3-on-1 sessions with the same credit scenarios as above. One-off sessions will remain at current prices, as outlined below.
PITCHVISION licences have a one-off cost of R200 (not an annual fee) For more information, please discuss with the coaching staff.

HPC UpdateAfter all the waiting, full coaching sessions have commenced in the wonderful new High Performance Centre facility. Some of our senior boys and several cricketers from local clubs have taken the opportunity to work in the top level coaching environment. The response from the players and coaches has been exceptional and the quality of training, discipline and commitment has been of the highest level.
Having focused mainly on bringing the HPC cricket facility on-stream, the Academy will now look to further enhance our overall offering in October when we join forces with Sports Dynamix, bringing specialist expertise in the form of Physiotherapists, psychologists, conditioning and bio-kinetics along with a visual expert. The gym will be opening its doors to senior boys and adults but will be run under strict supervision by qualified staff. The Complete Cricketer Academy’s focus will remain firmly on cricket coaching and we will keep you informed as the new developments come into place.
